WHAT IS CONI ON AIR?

CONI stands for Community ONeptune Imagination and is a web radio that combines both analog and digital technology in order to share with its listeners its vast and universal love for music.

Created by a group of sincere music lovers -ex pirate radio station owners and music professionals- it is dedicated to broadcasting quality music without clichéd dispositions.

A wide range of genres is covered; disco, electronica, soul, jazz, funk, rock and pop are just the milestones from where CONI’s music story will start unfolding.

Katerina Anghelaki-Rooke (Greek: Κατερίνα Αγγελάκη-Ρουκ; 22 February 1939 – 21 January 2020) was a Greek poet, translator and lecturer.

Life

Anghelaki-Rooke was born in Athens, the daughter of Eleni (née Stamati) from Patras and Yannis Anghelakis from Asia Minor. Her godfather was the Cretan writer Nikos Kazantzakis, a close friend of her parents. She married Rodney Rooke in 1963. While a very young child she contracted a bacterial infection that ate affected her bones and left her with a severe limp and a stunted arm. She attended primary and secondary school in Athens. She followed courses at the Universities of Athens and Nice, completing her studies with a degree in translation and interpretation at the University of Geneva.

Aikaterini "Katerina" Stikoudi (Greek: Αικατερίνη "Κατερίνα" Στικούδη; born 16 April 1985) is a Greek singer, actress, TV host, model, businesswoman, former champion swimmer and beauty pageant titleholder. After first gaining fame in 2001 by finishing fifth in the national swimming championship as PAOK swimming athlete she pursued a career in modeling, television, cinema and theatre. In 2005 she won the title of Miss Hellas 2005, on National Annual Beauty Pageant of Greece, followed by her participation on Miss World 2005 representing Greece.

On the following year, Stikoudi followed a career as a hostess and actress hosting the talk shows La Sousourela (2005), Proinos Kafes (2006), Mega Star from 2008 to 2011, Guinness World Record Show (2009), My Style Rocks (2020) and Just the 2 Of Us (2021).
