Biography and career[]
Janora McDuffie was born and raised in Durham, North Carolina. She attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. After that, McDuffie worked as a management consultant for Cap Gemini Ernst & Young in Atlanta, Georgia. However, after two years, she decided to move to California to pursue a career in acting.
Starting her career in 2001, McDuffie has appeared in films like The Pink House, Issues, Speechless, and Waiting for Tomorrow. She has also appeared in numerous TV shows. McDuffie portrayed another nurse an episode of The Event (2010), a series which has featured fellow 24 actors Ian Anthony Dale, Željko Ivanek, Bill Smitrovich, Gonzalo Menendez, Necar Zadegan, and Omid Abtahi.
McDuffie is also a host and voice-over artist.

McDuffie was born in Durham, North Carolina, to James and Nora McDuffie. Her birthday is not known, as it why she wanted to become an actress. What is known is that McDuffie graduated from the North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics and University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. McDuffie got her first on-screen role in 2001, when she was cast as Kisha in the comedy movie Bar-B-Q.
