Sheikh Dr. Maher bin Hamad Al Muaiqly was born in the city of Madinah in the year 1969. He belongs from the Al Muaqily clan from Yanbu.
Being a keen student of Mathematics since childhood he began to teach the subject after his Higher Education. He also completed the learning of the Quran and began to lead Salats in various mosques in Madinah
He went to Makkah to further his studies in religion and completed first his Master and then P.HD from Umm Al Qurra University in 2012.
He also started to lead prayers he various Mosques in Makkah and Madinah. And during Ramadan, the Mosques in which he used to lead Taraweeh would overflow with Believers wishing to pray behind him and listen to his Recitation. Biography of Maher Al Mueaqly
Maher Al Mueaqly, born Maher Ibn Hamd Ibn Mueaql Al Mueaqly Al Baloui, is a Saudi Imam and Qur’an reciter. He was born Chawal 18, 1388 Hijri in Madinah.
Maher Al Mueaqly grew up in Madinah. He earned a professional degree in mathematics and joined the educational stuff of Balat Al Shohada’ School and later became the students adviser in Abd Al Majid School of Makkah.
In 1425, Maher Al Mueaqly got a master in Shariaa from Umm Al Qura University. Lecturer in the Shariaa and Islamic Sciences Faculty, Maher was leading prayers in Abd Arrahmane Assaadi Mosque, Makkah. From 1416H to 1427, Maher Al Mueaqly was imam at the Prophet’s mosque and the Holy Mosque.
Maher Al Mueaqly’s discography including his recitations was released and sold across many Muslim countries.

Maher ibn Hamad ibn Muaiqel al-Muaiqly al-Balawi (born 7 January 1969) is an Imam and preacher of the Grand Mosque of Mecca, Masjid al-Haram.[1]
Achievements
Al-Muaiqly graduated from the Teachers College in Madinah where he studied mathematics and moved to work in Makkah al-Mukarramah as a teacher. He then became a student guide at Prince Abdul Majeed School in Makkah. He holds a master's degree in 1425 AH in the jurisprudence of Imam Ahmad bin Hanbal at the College of Shari'a at Umm al-Qura University and obtained a doctorate in interpretation. He works as an assistant professor in the Judicial Studies Department at the College of Judicial Studies and Regulations at Umm al-Qura University.[2] and holds the position of Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research.
The thesis was entitled: Imam Ahmad Ibn Hanbal Jurisprudence Issues according to the narration of Abd al-Malik al-Maimouni (collection and study). He obtained his doctorate from Umm al-Qura University in the year of 1432 AH, which
