American actor
Andrew Gerhardt Droege (pronounced [1]) is an American actor, comedian, writer, and director best known for his online impressions of Chloë Sevigny.
Early life and education
Droege attended and graduated from Lincolnton High School in Lincolnton, North Carolina. Droege went on to study Theatre and English at Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, where he obtained a BA. Following college graduation, Droege moved to Los Angeles and started studying with The Groundlings.

Television and film
Droege has appeared on television in Hot in Cleveland, Key & Peele, Bob's Burgers, How I Met Your Mother, Up All Night, New Girl, NTSF:SD:SUV::, Jon Benjamin Has a Van, Glory Daze, The Sarah Silverman Program, Kroll Show, Nick Swardson's Pretend Time, Halfway Home, Reno 911! and Campus Ladies and on film in Sassy Pants, Eating Out 4: Drama Camp and Big Gay Love.
Droege appears as John Dumé in the 2024 feature film Queer.[2][3]

Born in Hamburg in 1898, artist Paul Oscar Droege's parents moved the family to the beautiful town of Müritz in 1905. Located on the largest lake in Germany, it is a city defined by its gorgeous natural location. The artist would seek inspiration from nature and enjoy travel by water throughout the rest of his life. Like so many creative spirits, Droege's early school record shows him to have been a disinterested student. But a young artist's path may be forever changed by meeting one or two influential people at just the right moment. Oscar Droege's impressive catalog of lush, atmospheric color woodcuts might never have been made if he hadn't met Leopold Karl Walter Graf von Kalckreuth, painter and graphic artist, in the 1920s. He also studied with Professor Hans Kohlschein at the Darmstadt Artists' Colony, founded in 1899 by Ernest Louis, the Grand Duke of Hesse. The same can be said of his friendship with fellow artist Werner Lange. Paul (Oskar) Oscar Droege, printmaker and painter, was born in Hamburg, Germany on January 10, 1898, to Franzisko and Melita Droege. In 1905, his family relocated to the town of Waren located at the northern end of Lake Muritz. Droege attended public school in Waren and it appears that he was less than an ideal student.
In fall of 1916, Droege reported for military service and was a soldier in the Germany army in World War I, serving in France and Russia. After the war, he studied with Professor Hans Kohlschein at the Darmstadt Artists’ Colony, which was founded in 1899 by Ernest Louis, the Grand Duke of Hesse. Droege also studied at the Düsseldorf Academy but it was Leopold Karl Walter Graft von Kalckreuth, painter and graphic artist, who influenced Droege to turn to color woodcut in the early 1920s. In the late 1920s, Droege befriended the artist Werner Lange and the two traveled via bicycle and paddleboats through Germany, France and Scandinavia searching for subject matter.
On June 20, 1940, Droege was recalled into the military to serve in the German army and,
