The cranberries

The Cranberries was an alternative rock band from Limerick, Ireland that formed in 1989 and rose to mainstream popularity in the early 1990's. The band consisted of Noel Hogan (guitar/vocals; also a member of Mono Band, Arkitekt and The Puro), Mike Hogan (bass/vocals), and Fergal Lawler (drums/percussion; also a member of The Low Network). Dolores O'Riordan (vocals, keyboards, guitars) was a member from 1990 until her death in 2018. The band went on hiatus in 2003 and reunited in the summer of 2009.

Combining the melodic jangle of post-The Smiths indie pop with the lilting, trance-inducing sonic textures of late-80s dream pop and adding a slight Celtic tint, The Cranberries became one of the more successful groups to emerge from the indie scene of the early 90s. Led by vocalist Dolores O'Riordan, whose keening, powerful voice was the most distinctive element of the group's sound, the group initially made little impact in the United Kingdom.

The Cranberries were an Irish rock band formed in Limerick in 1989. The band was composed of lead singer and guitarist Dolores O'Riordan, guitarist Noel Hogan, bassist Mike Hogan (Noel's brother), and drummer Fergal Lawler; O'Riordan replaced founding member Niall Quinn in 1990. The band was originally named The Cranberries Saw Us, and was renamed after the addition of O'Riordan. The band classified themselves as an alternative rock group, but incorporated elements of indie rock, jangle pop, dream pop, folk rock, post-punk, and pop rock into their sound.

In 1991, the Cranberries signed with Island Records, and released their debut album, Everybody Else Is Doing It, So Why Can't We? (1993), to commercial success. Their second album, No Need to Argue (1994), brought the band to international fame and included the single "Zombie" which became a stadium anthem and one of the band's most recognizable songs. Cranberry (クランベリ,Kuranberi) is a soldier of the Frieza Force until he deserted.

Appearance[]

Cranberry is a humanoid alien who bears a resemblance to Namole and Fisshi, sporting the same hairdo as them. His dressings resemble those of Raspberry.

Personality[]

As expected of a former Frieza Force soldier, Cranberry is a very selfish and egotistical being. However, he is a rather smart and experienced fighter, since Frieza's generals chose him to invade Namek with them. He sees that as a matter to pride upon and falsely claims that he was formerly an elite member of the Frieza Force. In the Namek Saga, Cranberry takes sadistic joy in tormenting others, even children, as shown when he rudely shoves Dende during the raid on Moori’s Village and later snickering at the elder’s helplessness alongside Frieza, Dodoria, and another soldier. He also got a laugh out of seeing the Warrior-type Namekians supposedly being at only 1,000 each, dem
