Parham Holakouee

Biography

Parham Holakouee is a Visiting Professor at Pepperdine University’s Graduate School of Education and Psychology.

He has worked as a law and policy advisor to several governments and a strategic advisor to prominent non-profit multinational organizations. Through these advisory roles, he has worked on legal and regulatory reforms to stimulate entrepreneurship and innovation-focused economic growth. He has also developed educational curricula targeting better alignment between what is taught in schools and what is demanded by the economy of the future.

He has served as an economic consultant to several companies and as a professor at several universities. He previously worked as a corporate transactional attorney at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP.

Parham received his BA and MBA at UCLA, his JD from Columbia Law School, his MS from UC Berkeley, and is completing his PhD at UC Berkeley where he is working on academic research that integrates econometrics, securities regulation, corporate law, and behavioral economics.
