An accomplished kickboxer, karate champion, author, and actor, as well as a personal trainer and close friend of Elvis Presley, Bill Wallace has seen and done much of what this world has to offer.  After graduating from Ball State in 1971, Bill has never stopped pursuing his dreams and seeking ways to impact the lives of so many through coaching and sharing his great knowledge of his sport.

After serving in the Air Force, Bill came to Ball State excited and ready to learn, following in the footsteps of his father and sister. Enrolled in the Teacher’s College, Bill began his studies in kinesiology, physiology, and industrial education while also competing on the martial arts team. He goal was to someday be a physical education and shop teacher much like his father. After starting, Bill quickly met and became close with Dr. David Costell. Dr. Costell poured a great deal of time into the young man. William Louis Wallace (born December 1, 1945), nicknamed "Superfoot", is an American martial artist, former professional kickboxer, and actor. Considered one of the first American superstars of kickboxing,[3][4] he was the Professional Karate Association (PKA) World Full-Contact Champion, and the Middleweight Kickboxing Champion for six years, retiring with an undefeated 23-0-0 record.[5][6] He was elected to Black Belt magazine's Hall of Fame in 1973 as "Tournament Karate Fighter of the Year" and again in 1978 as "Man of the Year". He is currently the International Ambassador for PKA Worldwide.[7]

Wallace holds a 10th danblack belt and the title of sōke (grandmaster) in Shōrin-ryū karate. He has also studied wrestling and judo.[8] He is the founder of The Superfoot System, which incorporates a stretching methodology with Wallace's kicking style and fighting approach.[9][10] As an actor, his films include A Force of One

Today Bill lives in Boynton Beach, Florida but he was born in Portland, Indiana, and trained in wrestling during his high school years. He began his study of Judo in 1963 and was forced to discontinue his Judo related activities due to an injury he suffered during practice in 1966. He completely ripped the ligaments in his right knee. While his knee was healing, He made a decision to learn karate. He began to study Shorin-ryu Karate under Micky Geneck and trained with him from 1966 to 1967.

After advancing rather quickly in his martial arts he entered the point fighting tournament scene and achieved great success. He captured virtually every major event including the U.S. Championships (3 times), the USKA Grand Nationals (3 times), and the Top Ten Nationals (2 times).

Soon later he took up what was at the time, the fledging sport of full contact karate. With the coaching help of veteran fighter Jim 'Ronin' Harrison, he was quickly known for his fast left leg
